Increased road checks until September 22

The action aims to make drivers aware of the importance of road safety, and at the same time to catch as many people breaking the regulations as possible.  In addition to traditional road checks, the police group SPEED, whose police cars are equipped with video recorders, also left the road.
In addition to speed, police officers will check the technical condition of the vehicle and the sobriety of the drivers. They will also look at other offenses, including non-compliance with the obligation to fasten seat belts, transporting children in child seats and using a mobile phone by drivers contrary to the regulations.
This year, the main causes of accidents were failure to give way to other vehicles and incorrect avoidance. In 2019 - no way to give way to vehicles and unprotected road users.
