Prague will join the European Mobility Week and the ongoing ROADPOL Safety Days (formerly known as Project EDWARD - European Day Without Deaths on the Road) with an exhibition of statues of angels. Statues of angels are a symbol of deceased pedestrians. The exhibition draws attention to the fact that every year the most pedestrians die in traffic accidents in Prague of all road users. This year's third edition of the exhibition compares the extremely high number of deceased pedestrians in 2018 and, on the contrary, the low number of 8 died in 2019. The aim of the exhibition of angels in Zitkovy sady is to get the general public to think about what each of us can do for road safety.
